Dirt Bike School Oct. 24th

Dirtbike Tech had a Dirtbike School for youth and adult at Waldoch Sports. We had 2 youth and 3 adults. I helped Doug M. with his class while Sherry M. took the youth class.

Sherry was handing out trail maps and letting us in on the best places to ride.

Evan's Mom saw my business card in Garrison and gave me a call. Evan wants ride a motorcycle. He got his wish with Coach Jerry on a sunny Saturday day in September.

Josiah came out to meet Evan. Evan has been looking forward to this day for a long time.

Evan was excited to have a chance to ride a real motorcycle for the very first time. Everything was new to him. The clutch, accelerator, brakes, shifter and balancing a machine that will tip over on you if you are not careful. He hung in there and learned how to ride.

Evan was tired after his two hours of riding and was ready to call it a day. Great job Evan!

Ryan took Dirtbike School and here are a few pictures of his day on the bike. I was the assistant coach with Troy being the coach. He is with Dirtbike Tech out of Forest Lake.

At the end of class Ryan was given material to read. Class over.

Scott is getting the hang of the clutch. He road for about an hour and shifted into 2nd gear and did great! Scott is a friend of Ryan's and plans to ride together next week.

This is downtown Moose Lake. Go 27 east only about 2 miles and you are at the parking lot.

Heading East just outside Moose Lake on 27 heading toward 35w.

Even Mark on his Sunl 70cc was able to climb this hill.
